Private Bursa Day Tour from Istanbul
- We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul early in the morning and drive to Bursa. The journey takes several hours, so the exact travel time may vary depending on traffic and the route used on the day.
- Our first visit is the Grand Mosque of Bursa, also known as Ulu Cami. Built at the end of the 14th century, it is one of the city’s most important early Ottoman monuments. The mosque is known for its twenty domes, large interior and calligraphic panels.
- We then continue to the Green Mosque, one of the best-known examples of early Ottoman architecture. Its name comes from the green and turquoise tiles used in the decoration. Nearby, we visit the Green Tomb, the mausoleum of Sultan Mehmed I, which is also noted for its tilework and detailed interior.
- After these visits, we stop at Koza Han, a historic caravanserai that once formed an important part of Bursa’s silk trade. Today, the courtyard and surrounding shops still reflect the city’s long connection with silk production and commerce. You will have some free time to look around before continuing the tour.
- A lunch break can be arranged in the city according to your preferences. Lunch and drinks are not included in the tour price.
- In the afternoon, we visit Inkaya Village and the famous Inkaya Plane Tree, one of the oldest monumental trees in Türkiye. You will have time to enjoy the surroundings and take photos before the return journey.
