3-Day Pamukkale and Antalya Tour from Istanbul by Plane Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Flight to Denizli and Pamukkale Tour

You will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul early in the morning and transferred to the airport for your flight to Denizli.
Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and travel to Pamukkale and Hierapolis.
In Hierapolis, you will explore important remains including the theatre, necropolis, Roman baths, monumental gates and other structures from the Roman and Byzantine periods.
You will then continue to Pamukkale’s white travertine terraces, where you can remove your shoes and walk on the permitted sections.
Swimming in Cleopatra’s Antique Pool is optional and requires a separate entrance fee.
At the end of the tour, you will travel to Antalya and be transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Antalya.

Day 2: Antalya Old Town, Boat Trip and Waterfalls Tour (Breakfast – Lunch)

After breakfast, you will meet your guide and begin exploring Antalya.
You will visit Kaleici, Antalya’s historic Old Town, where you will see landmarks such as Hadrian’s Gate, the Clock Tower, the Fluted Minaret and the Old Harbour.
You will then join a short trip on a regular shared boat to see the Mediterranean coastline from the water. The boat trip depends on weather and sea conditions.
The programme also includes visits to Duden Waterfalls and Karpuzkaldiran Waterfall.
Lunch is included during the tour.
At the end of the programme, you will return to your hotel.
Overnight in Antalya.

Day 3: Perge, Aspendos and Side Tour and Return to Istanbul (Breakfast – Lunch)

After breakfast, you will visit Perge, one of the most important ancient cities of the Pamphylian region. You will explore its Roman streets, baths, agora, stadium and other monumental remains.
The tour continues to Aspendos, known for its well-preserved Roman theatre.
You will then travel to Side, an ancient harbour city where archaeological remains stand close to the modern coastal town. The programme includes landmarks such as the Temple of Apollo and time to explore the surrounding area.
Lunch is included during the tour.
At the end of the programme, you will be transferred to Antalya Airport for your flight to Istanbul.

What entrance fees are not included in the tour package?

Almost all main entrance fees are included. However, the fee for swimming in Cleopatra's Pool at Pamukkale is not included and must be paid separately at the site if you choose to enter.

Do I have to remove my shoes and socks to walk on the Pamukkale terraces?

Yes, on Day 1, when visiting the Pamukkale travertines, all visitors are required to remove their shoes and socks to protect the white terraces. You will walk barefoot.
