Located in the Eminönü district by the Golden Horn, it was built in the 17th century as part of the Yeni Mosque. The market got its name from the exotic spices from Egypt during the Ottoman Empire.

The Spice Market is a busy marketplace packed with vibrant stalls brimming with spices, dried fruits, nuts, teas, and Turkish delights. Local favorites like honey, olive oil soaps, and fabulous handmade souvenirs can also be found.
