The 4-Day Gallipoli, Troy, Pergamon, Ephesus, and Pamukkale Tour will take you through some of Turkey’s most iconic sites, blending history, legend, and natural wonder. Begin in Gallipoli, where the battlefields of World War I now stand as moving memorials to the Anzacs and the Turks. Continue to the legendary city of Troy, immortalized in Homer’s Iliad, where layers of archaeology reveal thousands of years of history. In Pamukkale, the dazzling “Cotton Castle,” walk across brilliant white terraces shaped by hot springs and explore the ancient city of Hierapolis with its theater, necropolis, and Cleopatra’s Pool. Our final stop is Ephesus. It is one of the best-preserved cities of the ancient world. Ephesus is home to the Celsus Library, the Great Theater, and the Temple of Artemis. More than a tour, this is a journey through the stories and landscapes that shaped Turkey’s rich heritage.
Day 1: Gallipoli Tour
- Today, we will meet at your hotel in Istanbul early in the morning and drive to Gallipoli.
- We will visit WWI memorials when we arrive to Gallipoli. The most important sites include Brighton Beach, ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, The Nek, Beach Cemetery, Ari Burnu Cemetery, Johnston’s Jolly, Kabatepe Museum, and the Helles Memorial.
- We will drive to Canakkale. Check into our hotel and spend the night in Canakkale.
Day 2: Troy and Pergamon Tour (Breakfast)
- We’ll start the day by visiting the famous site of Troy, where the ancient ruins and the story of the Trojan Horse bring history to life.
- Afterward, we’ll head to Pergamon, a city known for its stunning architecture and cultural significance, especially as one of the Seven Churches of Revelation in early Christianity. The Acropolis, featuring landmarks such as the Altar of Zeus and the Temple of Dionysus, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- After a day of exploration, we’ll go to Kusadasi for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Ephesus Tour (Breakfast – Dinner)
- Today, we will visit the Virgin Mary’s House, the humble stone house where Mary, the mother of Jesus, spent the last years of her life.
- Afterward, we will visit Ephesus’s Ancient City, including the Celsus Library, Agora, Theater, Odeon, Trajan Fountain, Domitianus Temple, and Roman Latrines. Before we leave, we will stop at the Ephesus Experience Museum.Our final stop is the Temple of Artemis, the remains of one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world.
- We will drive to Pamukkale at the end of the tour and drop you off at your hotel for dinner and overnight at Pamukkale.
Day 4: Pamukkale Tour (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, we’ll explore the ruins of Hierapolis Ancient City, including the theater, Plutonium, necropolis, and the Temple of Apollo.
- We will stop at Cleopatra’s Pool. You can swim at the antique pool or rest after walking through the ancient city. Then, we’ll walk down the stunning white terraces of Pamukkale formed by mineral-rich hot springs. At the end of the tour, we will drive you to Denizli Airport for your flight to Istanbul.
- We will meet you upon your arrival in Istanbul and drive you back to your hotel.
