Our Private Ephesus Tour from Pamukkale offers a seamless way to explore Turkey’s most visited ancient city after experiencing the famous travertines. Traveling from Pamukkale to the Aegean coast, you’ll arrive in Ephesus, once a great Roman metropolis with a population of 250,000 and one of the most important port cities of the ancient world. Walking through its marble streets, you’ll see the Celsus Library, the Great Theatre, the Temple of Hadrian, and other highlights that reveal the grandeur of this remarkable city. Nearby, visit the site of the Temple of Artemis. Despite there are only few columns remaining today, it is known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. With deep ties to Saint Paul, Saint John, and early Christianity, Ephesus combines history and spirituality in a way few places can.
