With our 2-Day Ephesus, Aphrodisias and Pamukkale Tour, let’s explore some of Turkey’s most fascinating ancient treasures, where history, faith, and natural beauty come together. Ephesus ancient city, once used to be a thriving port city with a population of 250,000. You’ll walk the same streets once visited by Saint Paul and Saint John, admire the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, and visit the Church of the Virgin Mary. Nearby, the House of the Virgin Mary on Bulbul Mountain continues to draw pilgrims from around the world. In Aphrodisias, the city of the goddess of love, you’ll discover one of the best-preserved ancient sites in Turkey, home to the Temple of Aphrodite, the massive stadium, and the Sebasteion, where extraordinary marble sculptures showcase the artistry of its famed school of sculpture. Also we will visit the dazzling terraces of Pamukkale, the “Cotton Castle,” where mineral-rich hot springs form white pools cascading down the hillside. Alongside stands Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its Roman theater, necropolis, Temple of Apollo, and Cleopatra’s Pool, where thermal waters have drawn visitors since antiquity. Together, these destinations offer an unforgettable journey through the wonders of the ancient world and the timeless landscapes of Turkey.

Day 1: Ephesus Tour (Lunch)

  • We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul early in the morning and drive you to the airport. You will take a flight to Izmir. We will meet you at Izmir Airport and drive you to Selcuk.
  • You will visit the Virgin Mary’s House, the ancient City of Ephesus, including the Celsus Library, Agora, Theater, Odeon, Trajan Fountain, Domitianus Temple, and Roman Latrines. We will also visit the Ephesus Experience Museum. Our last stop is the Temple of Artemis.
  • At the end of the tour, we will drive you to Kusadasi for an Overnight stay.
  • Day 2: Aphrodisias and Pamukkale Tour (Breakfast)
  • We will meet you at your hotel in Kusadasi and drive you to Aphrodisias which is located near Aydin City. We will explore the ruins of this famous ancient city, including the Temple of Aphrodite, the massive stadium, and the Sebasteion, a shrine honoring Roman emperors. It fells like stepping back in time, when you walk through these ancient buildings. It will give you real sense of the artistry and vibrant life that once filled the city. It’s a place that brings history to life and is a must-visit for anyone curious about the ancient world.
  • When we arrive in Pamukkale, we will visit Hierapolis Ancient city, including the Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinus Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater.
  • We will stop at Cleopatra’s Pool. You can swim in the antique pool or rest after the walk through the ancient city.
  • Afterward, we will visit the cotton castles of Pamukkale. You can enjoy the hot waters and take amazing photos.
  • At the end of the tour, we will drive you to Denizli Airport for your flight to Istanbul.
  • We will meet you at Istanbul airport and drive you back to your hotel.

We offer two ways to enjoy this 2-Day trip: Private Tour: All tours and all transfers for the entire 2 days are conducted exclusively for your party with a dedicated vehicle and guide. Semi-Private Tour: This hybrid option features the Ephesus Tour as a Small Group (maximum 12 guests), while the logistically intensive Aphrodisias and Pamukkale Tour is Private with your exclusive guide and vehicle for the day.

Yes, this is a full-service package. The price covers your round-trip domestic flight tickets (Istanbul-Izmir and Denizli-Istanbul) and 1 night of accommodation in Kusadasi. It also includes all airport and hotel transfers.

Almost all main entrance fees are included. However, the fee for the Terrace Houses at Ephesus and the swimming fee for Cleopatra's Pool at Pamukkale are not included and must be paid separately at the site if you choose to enter/swim.

You will need a variety of clothing: modest attire (shoulders and knees covered) for the House of the Virgin Mary. Comfortable walking shoes are essential for all ancient sites. Also, bring a swimsuit and a towel for Pamukkale, as you will be walking barefoot on the travertines.

The transfers and surrounding areas are accessible. However, archaeological sites (Ephesus, Hierapolis) may be challenging due to uneven marble streets and stairs. Access may be limited to specific sections, but your guide will assist you with the best available routes.

To maximize your time on the ground, your flight from Istanbul should be scheduled to arrive in Izmir (ADB) between 08:00 AM and 08:30 AM on Day 1. Your return flight on Day 2 should depart from Denizli (DNZ) late in the evening to ensure you complete the Pamukkale visit fully.

Since this is a multi-day, point-to-point tour, your luggage is safely stored in the trunk of the tour vehicle while you are exploring the sites. Your dedicated driver ensures the security of your belongings at all times.
