From Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace, we travel to Troy and the Seven Churches of Revelation in Pergamon, Thyatira, Smyrna, and Ephesus, where St. Paul once preached and the Virgin Mary’s house still stands. We explore Priene, Miletos, Didyma, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea, before continuing south to Antalya’s Greco-Roman ruins and east to Cappadocia’s dramatic landscapes, cave churches, and underground cities where early Christians found refuge. Guided by expert explanations, this pilgrimage blends history, archaeology, and faith into a transformational experience through lands where Scripture and history come alive.
Day 1: Arrival – Dinner Cruise (Dinner)
- We will meet you at the airport upon your arrival in Istanbul and escort you to your hotel.
- In the evening, we will drive you to the port for the Dinner Cruise. Enjoy a dinner cruise on the Bosphorus in the evening, which offers stunning views of Istanbul, traditional Turkish dishes, and entertainment.
- After dinner, return to your hotel.
Day 2: Troy, Alexandria Troas, Assos ( Breakfast )
- Today we will leave Istanbul early in the morning and drive to Troy.
- We will visit the ruins of legendary Troy city and a replica of the Trojan Horse. Afterward, we will drive to Alexandria Troas, where St. Paul raised Eutychus from the dead and sailed to Greece.
- We will drive to Assos, where St. Paul walked from Alexandria Troas and met his companions. Overnight in Assos.
Day 3: Pergamon, Thyatira, and Smyrna ( Breakfast )
- Today we will drive to Pergamon after breakfast and visit the Acropolis, the Temple of Athena, the Serapis Temple, the Heroon, the Sanctuary of Athena, the Library of Pergamon, the Temple of Trajan, the Theatre, the Zeus Altar, and the Red Court. Afterward, we will drive to Izmir to visit the Agora of Smyrna Ancient City.
- We will drive to Kusadasi at the end of the tour. Overnight at Kusadasi.
Day 4: Virgin Mary’s House, Ephesus Ancient City, Basilica of St. John ( Breakfast )
- Today we will drive to Selcuk and visit Virgin Mary’s House, Ephesus Ancient City, and the Basilica of St. John.
- At the end of the tour, we will drive you back to your hotel in Kusadasi.
Day 5: Priene, Miletos, Didyma ( Breakfast )
- We will leave the hotel after breakfast and drive to Priene. It is a Greco-Roman Ancient City famous for its well-preserved theater and remains of a synagogue. Afterwards, we will visit Miletos, where St. Paul farewelled the Ephesian elders. We will drive to Didyma and visit the Apollon Temple at Didyma.
- At the end of the tour, we will drive you back to Kusadasi. Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 6: Sardis, Philadelphia, and Pamukkale (Breakfast )
- After breakfast, we will leave Kusadasi and drive to Sardis.
- We will visit the remains of the early church of Sardis. Then drive to Philadelphia. Visit the Philadelphia church and drive to Pamukkale. We will visit Hierapolis Ancient City, including the tomb of St. Philip.
- Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 7 : Laodicea – Colossae – Antalya ( Breakfast )
- After breakfast, we will visit Laodicea Ancient City, one of the Seven Churches of the book of Revelation.
- Afterward, we will drive to Honaz, visit Colossae, and then proceed to Antalya. Overnight in Antalya.
Day 8: Perge Side Aspendos (Breakfast)
- Today, we will visit the ancient city of Perge, where St. Paul delivered his first speech on Christianity in the area. Afterward, we will drive to Aspendos and visit the well-preserved Greco-Roman theater.
- Our final stop today is the Side Ancient City. We will visit the theater, the Great Gate, and the Temple of Apollo. Overnight in Antalya.
Day 9: Psidian Antioch – Konya ( Breakfast )
- After breakfast, we will drive to Yalvac and visit Psidian Antioch, where St. Paul preached his first recorded sermon and said,” Now we turn to Gentiles”.
- We will drive to Konya for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Iconium – Cappadocia ( Breakfast )
- Today, we will explore Konya, the ancient city of Iconium. We will visit the Mausoleum of Rumi, a famous Turkish mystic. We will visit Karatay Medrese and Ince Minaret. Afterward, we will drive to Cappadocia. We will visit the Sultanhan Caravanserai on our way to Cappadocia.
- Check into our hotel and overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 11: Biblical Cappadocia Tour ( Breakfast )
- Today, we will visit Goreme Open Air Museum and see Tokali Church, Basil Church, St. Barbara Church, Dark Church, St. Catherine Chapel, Carikli Church, Nunnery, the Troglodyte Village of Avcilar, Avanos, Monk’s Valley , and St. Simeon Church
- Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 12: Cappadocia Tour ( Breakfast )
- Today, we will explore one of the underground cities of Cappadocia, Uchisar Castle, Guvercinlik Valley, and Ihlara Valley. At the end of the tour, we will drive you to the airport for your flight to Istanbul.
- We will meet you at Istanbul Airport and drive you to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 13: Istanbul Old City Tour ( Breakfast)
- Today, we will meet you at your hotel and drive to the old city. We will visit St. Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome, the Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar.
- Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 14: Free Day In Istanbul ( Breakfast )
- Today, you can explore yourself or book one of the optional tours such as “Fener, Balat and Galata Tour”, “Dolmabahce Palace Tour”, or ” Turkish Food Tour with a visit to Galata Tower.
- Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 15: Departure ( Breakfast )
