Let’s discover the beauty and history of Turkey’s most remarkable sites with our 5-Day Cappadocia, Pamukkale, and Ephesus Package Tour from Istanbul. In Pamukkale, the “Cotton Castle,” dazzling white terraces shaped by hot springs lead up to the ancient city of Hierapolis, where you can explore the amphitheater, necropolis, and even swim in Cleopatra’s Pool. In Ephesus, one of the greatest cities of the ancient world and part of the Seven Churches of Revelation, walk the same streets once filled with early Christians and admire the Library of Celsus, the Basilica of St. John, and the Temple of Artemis. Then journey to Cappadocia, a land of fairy chimneys, underground cities, and cave churches carved into soft stone, where breathtaking landscapes and centuries of history come together in a place like no other.

Day 1: Ephesus Tour (Lunch)

  • We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul early in the morning and drive you to the Istanbul airport according to your flight schedule.We will meet at Izmir Airport and take you to Selcuk for the Ephesus tour.
  • We will visit the ancient city of Ephesus, including the Library of Celsus, the Grand Theater, and the Ephesus Experience Museum. Next, we will see the House of the Virgin Mary and the Temple of Artemis.
  • At the end of your tour, we will take you to your hotel in Kusadasi.

Day 2: Pamukkale Tour (Breakfast – Lunch)

  • After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Pamukkale. The drive takes three hours through the picturesque countryside. We will visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, including the Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Lathrina, Oil Factory, Frontinus Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Temple of Apollo, Plutonium, and the Theatre. We will stop at Cleopatra’s Pool. After touring the ancient city, you can swim in the ancient pool or rest. Our last stop will be the cotton castles of Pamukkale. You will be able to enjoy the healing hot springs of Pamukkale and take amazing photos.
  • At the end of the tour, we will take you back to Kusadasi and drop you off at your hotel.

Day 3: Kusadasi to Cappadocia (Breakfast)

  • Today, we will take you to Izmir Airport according to your flight schedule to Cappadocia. Then, we will meet you at Cappadocia Airport and take you to your hotel, where you will stay for two nights.

Day 4: Northern Cappadocia Tour (Breakfast – Lunch)

  • ***Optional Hot Air Balloon Flight (Please book it in advance)
  • After breakfast, we will meet you at your hotel and drive to Uchisar Castle for a panoramic view of Cappadocia. Next, we will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we will explore the rock-carved churches and the stunning frescoes that cover the walls. We will visit the pottery workshops in Avanos to observe traditional techniques that are still in use. Afterward, we will visit Monk’s Valley (Pasabag) to see the mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys and the rock-carved monk cell of St. Simeon.
  • We will drive you back to your hotel after visiting Devrent Imagination Valley, where you can see animal-shaped fairy chimneys.

Day 5: Southern Cappadocia Tour (Breakfast – Lunch)

  • After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Goreme Panorama Point to see Cappadocia from a different angle. Next, we will drive to Red Valley for a 4-km hike. On the hike, you will see rock-carved churches, pigeon houses, and local farms. After visiting Cavusin Village, we will drive to Love Valley to see pillar-shaped rock formations. We will visit Kaymakli Underground City, an underground settlement used as a shelter by early Christians.
  • After visiting Pigeon Valley, we will drive you to the airport for your flight to Istanbul. We will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel in Istanbul.

Yes, this is a full-service package. The price covers your round-trip domestic flight tickets (Istanbul-Izmir, Izmir-Kayseri, and Kayseri-Istanbul) and 4 nights of accommodation in 4-star standard hotels.

Yes, lunch is included on all three sightseeing days (Day 1, 4, and 5) for Small Group Tour guests. For Private Tour guests, lunch is not included; however, your guide will happily assist you in selecting a preferred local restaurant. Drinks are not included in either option.

No, the Hot Air Balloon Flight is optional and not included in the package price. However, we will happily arrange your balloon reservation for you upon request.

Almost all main entrance fees are included. However, the fee for the Terrace Houses at Ephesus and the swimming fee for Cleopatra's Pool at Pamukkale are not included and must be paid separately at the site if you choose to enter/swim.

You will need a variety of clothing: modest attire (shoulders and knees covered) for the House of the Virgin Mary. Comfortable walking shoes are essential for all ancient sites and the 4km hike in Cappadocia. Also, bring a swimsuit and towel for Pamukkale.

The transfers and surrounding areas are accessible. However, archaeological sites (Ephesus, Hierapolis) and the Kaymakli Underground City may be challenging due to uneven terrain and stairs. Your guide will assist you with the best available routes.

Yes, on Day 2, when visiting the Pamukkale travertines, all visitors are required to remove their shoes and socks to protect the white terraces. You will walk barefoot.
