4 Days Pamukkale, Ephesus, Cappadocia Tour Program
Day 1: Pamukkale Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul early in the morning and drive you to the airport for your flight to Denizli Airport. Upon landing in Denizli, a member of our staff will greet you with a name sign at Denizli Airport. You’ll then be taken to the city center of Pamukkale, where you’ll meet your tour guide. The tour begins with a visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis, including the Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinus Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, and Theater. We’ll also stop at Cleopatra’s Pool, where you can relax or swim amongst the fallen columns of the Apollon Temple. Later, we’ll walk to the white travertine pools of Pamukkale, offering opportunities for stunning photos. Post-lunch, we’ll visit Karahayit and Red Water, known for its unique red, green, and brown rock formations. Around 16:00, we’ll transfer you to Kusadasi for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Ephesus Tour
After breakfast, we’ll head to the town of Selcuk for the Ephesus Tour. Start with a visit to the House of the Virgin Mary atop Mount Koressos, believed to be her last residence. Later, explore the ancient city of Ephesus, including the Celsus Library, Great Theater, Temple of Hadrian, Fountain of Trajan, Hercules Gate, Domitian Temple, and Terrace Houses. After lunch in Selcuk, we’ll visit the historic Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. At the end of the tour, we will drive you to Izmir Airport according to your flight schedule for your flight to Cappadocia. One of our team members will greet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel. Check into a cave hotel and overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 3: Northern Cappadocia Tour (Red Tour)
OPTIONAL: Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Ride early in the morning before breakfast.
After breakfast, we’ll meet you at your hotel and head to Goreme for the Northern Cappadocia Tour. First, we’ll visit Uchisar Castle for a panoramic view of Cappadocia. Your guide will share insights about the area’s history, underground cities, rock-cut dwellings, and fairy chimneys. Next, we’ll explore the Goreme Open Air Museum and its rock-carved churches with ancient frescoes. Then, we’ll drive to Avanos village to see traditional pottery workshops. After lunch, visit Monk’s Valley, featuring rock-carved monk cells and mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys, and then Devrent Valley, known for its animal-shaped formations. The day ends with a stay in a unique cave hotel in Cappadocia.
Day 4: Southern Cappadocia Tour (Green Tour)
After breakfast, we’ll start at the Goreme Panoramic Viewpoint for breathtaking views. Our hike through the Red/Rose Valley will reveal local farms, fairy chimneys, and rock-cut churches. In Cavusin Village, visit the Church of St. John the Baptist, then continue to Love Valley to admire its pillar-shaped formations. After lunch, explore Kaymakli Underground City, an ancient refuge for early Christians. The tour concludes at Pigeon Valley, known for its pigeon houses carved into the rocks. Finally, you will be transferred to Kayseri Airport for your return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul, we’ll transfer you to your hotel, concluding our services.
