2 Days Gallipoli & Troy Tour Program
Day 1: Gallipoli Tour
The first day we will start with an early hotel pick-up for a 4.5-hour drive to Gallipoli Battlefields. Arriving in Eceabat, we will have a lunch break before starting the tour. Accompanied by your tour guide, you will explore various vital sites including Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston’s Jolly Cemetery, Allied and Turkish trenches and tunnels, Turkish 57th Infantry Regiment Cemetery, The Nek Cemetery, and the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. When the tour ends, we will drive to Canakkale, check into our hotel and overnight in Canakkale.
Day 2: Troy Tour (Breakfast)
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and start our tour of the legendary city of Troy. Accompanied by your tour guide, explore the evocative ruins of Troy, rich in history and myth, as described in Homer’s epic Greek poem, the Iliad. Gain insights into the city’s historical significance and cultural importance, and get the chance to see the original Trojan Horse that was used in the movie Troy, displayed in Canakkale. After the tour, enjoy some free time to explore Canakkale before departing for Istanbul at 6:00 pm. The tour concludes with drop-off at your Istanbul hotel.
